9 months baby and still naps on me

I wouldn't let her cry more than 20 mins straight. If she did I would go get her and try gain in an hour or so.

I will try training for naps after the 46 weeks wonder week. At the moment dd is so clingy and fights sleep just too well esp naps

I'm reading this thread as my ds is taking a nap on me too. He was napping in his crib for 30-45minutes Max every 1.5-2 hours.....but he's been sleeping on me for 2hours now. I'm curious if he will stay awake longer and take fewer naps today because of this....

Do you want him to be awake longer? He should be awake a little longer in the daytime I would suspect. At that age though if I remembered correctly my little one could only stay awake for 1.5 hours.

Not necessarily, I just want him to be happy. I keep trying to figure out a schedule based on his cues instead of forcing one. I'm thinking today's long nap wasn't good though. He wouldn't nap again at all all day and was a big grump up until bedtime. *sigh*

At 4 months my lo would need at least two long naps to make it to the nightime happy
