A bit confused - EWCM

When you have EWCM does that mean you have just ovulated or about to in the next day or so, or already ovulated?

I have been wanting another baby for ages but OH wasn't ready. Anyway he decided last week he was ready so we stopped using condoms and that happened a day or 2 after I had EWCM. My period is due in a week or so, but I'm super crampy today. I know I just have to wait and see and I highly doubt I will get pregnant anytime soon, but just curious as to when you ovulate after EWCM

It's usually leading up to ovulation. But if you ovulated and dtd within 24 hours you still could have caught the egg! Good luck!

It is usually leading up to O. I normally get EWCM 2 days before O
