My sister is going through a bit of a rough time just now. She has a day off work in a couple of weeks and I want to arrange a day out with her to cheer her up a bit however I wont have a babysitter that day so it will have to include my 10 month old daughter and I'm stumped.

Any ideas???

The list is endless. If I knew where you lived I could give you an exact list but here are some general ideas.

- go to a museum and then a picnic
- go for lunch and shopping
- spa day, try to find a place that is upscale and has some daycare options or arrange for a masseuse to come to you.
- go for a hike
- is there a botanical garden near you? that always cheers me up

Car boot sale?
Zoo?
Just a wander around town/shopping?
Swimming?

Aquarium? I took lo last week, during school hrs so nice and quiet, he loved it and I actually found it quite relaxing!

Some great ideas, thanks ladies!

Lollieollie - where was the aquarium?

Thanks

I took LO (9 months) to the zoo today and she loved it as much as me! It was an hour away so the driving wasn't fun but definitely worth it to take my mind of things :) they tend to be very family friendly too.

Lomond shores? It's pretty small but that was good in this case to keep lo's attention. Plus a lovely setting, nice walks and a few shops x
