:flower: Hi everyone!

So I'm pregnant with our first (and probably only lol) daughter. Our son is Alistair. We are Allie and Alex and DH wants another 'A' name, and we like names with a Scottish connection if possible (or any kind of Celtic/Gaelic to go with Alistair). BUT we are open to anything, even non-A names. Since that just narrows our choices a ton.

We can't agree on much haha.

I like the names Clara, Elise, Emily, but said no to all of them. :nope:

He likes Amelia (too popular) and Alice (too much like Alistair to me).

Some names on our list are

Ailsa
Annalise
Abigail (but I don't like the nickname Abby for personal reasons)

But I'm not set on any of them.

HELP!

Anna
Annabel
Arabella
Aila
Annalise
Ailie
Aisling
Ada

I also thought Emmeline goes lovely with Alistair but is obviously not an A name

Ayla
Ailsa
Annella
Eilidh (Gaelic prounounced Ay-lee)
Isla
Aofie
Callie (as in Caledonia)
Erinn
Fiona
Iona
Fara (name of an island where I live) :)

The A names I like for girls are

Ailie/Ailidh (maybe too close to Allie? )
Ailish
Aria
Arianna
Aurora

Those are some great suggestions! Thank you!!

Oh and if it helps her middle name is already decided - Faye after my mother.

First name which came to mind is Eilidh, I know it doesn't begin with an A but it has the A sound.
Aila
Amelie
Agnes
Ailith
Adair
Artis

I talked DH round to Clara so we are ditching the 'A' theme and going with Clara Faye. :)

I know a little girl named Aislin. I live the name. (Pronounced Ash-lin) but could also be (Az-Lin)
