Hi! I have been searching for a site like this for a few weeks... finally i have decided that babyandbump was the right one for me
to cut the long story short..... me 33 and my partner 39 have been trying to conceive since june 2010 without success... six months later (jan2011) i decided we could need help so i went to a fs. he carried out the routine infertility tests (hormones, sperms, ecc...) but nothing was wrong.
i changed fs (because the previous one was taking too long to make appts) and the new fs (gynae/ob) said i needed an investigative laparoscopy and D & C. he also started me on metformin to help ovulation.
sept 2011 i went in for my lap and discovered i have endometriosis... at least we had an explanation for our long ttc time (i had never had symptoms of endo)! on my next app, the fs prescribed me zoladex to put me on a menopause for 6 months to clear up the endo.
I am now in my menopausal state... which is not easy because of the side effects, worst of all being the mood swings... which make me feel like i'm a mad person sometimes...
i've had my 5th zol implant yesterday so only 1 left!! i am excited for the outcome.... but i have to keep myself occupied not to drive myself crazy for the next 2 month wait!!
