A little frustrated after first appt.

A little vent:

Things that annoyed me yesterday at my first appt: My OB is stuck in the stone age and they don't do non-evasive bloods for genetic issues so I'll be doing the triple panel and possiable
amnio .....whatever.........and they don't do VBAC's at the hospital, which I figured, but still......come into THIS day and age! Guess that is what I get for moving to the country after growing up in L.A.!

On a good point, got my scan of the "gummy bear" this morning and he/she is doing GREAT and I had my due date and how far along I was down to a tee! (See signature!)

So I guess I could change hospitals/ob's but I don't want to go for the VBAC and be X amount of miles futher from a hospital when my hospital is 10 mins away.....sigh. O'well! I'll live!

So good with the bad.......I got to see bubs, so I am happy!

Where are you located? I'm in the NE US, and there are lots of places that do vbac by me. Congrats on a great scan?

I am the NE but near Scranton out in the country towards NY...I may just do more homework....

im in Pennsylvania and on welfare Gateway insurance, its now a pa law that as of january 1st 2015 you NOT ALLOWED at all to try for VBAC after c-section, its bullshit!. My first baby was stillborn at 36 weeks and i had him vaginlly, then my 2nd was living and after 19 hrs at 5 1-2cm they just didnt wanna wait and forced me into the OR despite nothing being wrong with the baby or i. now that im planning this to be my last i wanted a happy vaginl experience, but nope! my edd ws 12-28-14 then they moved it to january 7th (im pretty sure on purpose cuz my doctors are the biggest pieces of shit on this earth i swear) and dont give a rats ass about what i went thru or what i want. Ugh, f*ckin hate doctors...
