A little update on Alexander

For those who aren't members of the mummy club I thought I'd give a little update on Alexander as we had our neurodevelopment clinic today. He is thriving at home and is now up to 10lb 5oz, gaining 10-13oz a week! He is still having problems with reflux but we are getting there with it. The best new of all is that next week we are going to start trying him off of the oxygen! I am so unbelievably delighted! We've also cut out some drugs which is fab! Development wise he is right on track of not a little ahead and is a smiley, babbling, gorgeous boy

Well done Alexander, Its great news when they discuss the oxygen coming down or coming off. I was scared when Reece first come off but he has done Amazingly off it. Been off since october and not looked back since xx

Good news, as well! (And good to see developmental on track, if not ahead -- makes all the nights cuddling even more worth it -- and to my MIL, NO you cannot spoil a newborn preemie!)
