A sex thread.

I've been trying and trying to convince myself I'm still off it, but I'm very much back "on it!" I can't deny it anymore but I don't think I can bring myself to do it y'know? After the weak cervix, and bleeding, and the cervix pinching and the fact most people say it's quite sore at this stage anyway, I'm really freaking scared.

I don't know what to do? I don't know whether it's worth it? Doctor said sex is perfectly fine after 16 weeks but we all know how paranoid I am by now?

I know what you mean! I had to stop because of a low-lying placenta and i was so paranoid i was going to bleed i couldn't bring myself to do anything that involved that general area. Now that I have the green light from my doctor I'm still really paranoid about it and attempted it once and then got so nervous I couldn't continue. Poor OH But I'm finding it impossible to deny it any longer as well, especially since I probably won't even want anything to do with it once i get as big as a house

If your doctor says your okay to do it, and you can't deny it any longer, I say go for it. That's pretty much what I'm going to do. Just be sure it's not too rough just to be careful and I'm sure all will be fine.

OH knows I'm scared, and he said he doesn't mind waiting if I'm scared. I said there's no harm in trying and if worst comes to worst we'll just have to stop and try again some other time. Doesn't stop me worrying though

I know I guess trial and error is best. That's how it is with me lately. I'm sure eventually I'll get the nerve to go through with it. And so will you. But there's no point in rushing it if it makes you so nervous.

Bah I want sex really bad. My OH always looks super sexy when he comes out of the shower in a towel. We are not aloud to have sex the rest of the pregnancy because of my contractions. UHHHH sometimes I don't know how I do it. On top of that once the baby is here who knows when we will find time!! I think I'll almost be scared because we wouldn't have had sex at that point in months!

Try doing it in a position that wont be too deep. You might be more comfortable with it that way.

Well we havn't since 6 weeks because I wasn't allowed untill 16 and then I just didn't feel like it. Now I do I'm scared of it! It probably sounds slightly ridiculous but we're going to try it out and see what happens. We can always stop if I need to

After 17 weeks of no sex, I think my wiggling baby will be the last thing on my mind If anything that'll let me know they're O.K.

oh my gosh, this is exactly what happened to us last week. we finally gave it a go, but nope, it was as if the baby locked it from inside and said: daddy, are you crazy? I'm not letting you in.

Me and my boyfriend have had sex the whole time i've been pregnant! Sometimes we try and it hurts too much, but sometimes its great! My boyfriend is really understanding though, and he doesn't want to do it if it hurts, he says he would rather wait until after our little girl is born!! xx

We've been having sex like normal. It's a little uncomfortable sometimes, so we stop if it is. I definietly would NOT want to have to abstain for the rest of the pregnancy though. If you're nervous, just take your time.

Im exactly the same. Ive alwyas had a really low sex drive though. I went to my docs about it just before I got pregnant coz I was worried there was something wrong, but about a week later we found out about junior and I put it on the back burner. It hasnt improved as I thought it might. Im scared of hurting the baby. As weird as it sounds, i feel dead awkward as well. I dont think we'd do it when the baby is asleep in our room, so why would we do it now? I jusrt feel dead weeeeird about it.

Im sure you'll be fine if the docs given you the go ahead but obvs dont push yourself to hard to do it if you dont want to. If your OH says he'll wait then thats great He sounds like he's being a lot better than he was a couple of months back.

My hubby was freaked out about having sex since we found out that i was pregnant, he said he didn't feel right with the baby being in there. I told him that it was perfectly normal, so we finally had some lovin last night. It was much needed. All I think about is sex, sex and more sex. I feel like a perv...

lol ive been having the same problem when we have sex its so annoying as all i can feel is the baby wiggling around and it really puts me off, ive not really felt in the mood either xxx
