Since last MC I havent been ok in that dept and had some swabs taken. For some reason my GP couldnt find the results and so I went over a week without treatment. By the time the GP called me I was doubled over in agony and it was too late I was admitted to the womens health ward with an abscess in the pelvis. Anyway after several days it burst (sorry TMI) and after crying they agreed to let me come home so long as I promise to go back Tuesday so that if its not gone they can operate.
Thing is Im now a week late on period and cant help but wonder if theres something still in there and im worried. With my son I was almost 3 weeks late before FRER detected anything and my first blood test wasnt considered + either. I am getting a lot of abdo pain but not period like.
Also my heamoatologist isnt happy with me having surgery due to risk to me and I keep thinking please get better as if I have the op I will need treatment for blood for weeks and weeks which will delay my trying. I am gutted and as Xmas too!!
I know that none of you share my disorder or at least didnt say, but have any of you missed periods after a bad infectiong before? My OB/GYN doesnt think its likely to be that. Could there be a chance of Pg and whats the chance of it surviving a GA if they dont disturb the area?
By OB doesnt want to wait 2 more weeks as she is far more interested in fixing anything thats bad but I suppose like most of you if theres a 0.01 % chance theres a baby in there Id never forgive myself if I had surgery and it ended. Pain is a small price to pay isnt it?
