Two things really...
I am getting mastitis again. This is the 4th time and my baby is only 3 months old. I feel like I've been hit by a bus and it's horrible.
Secondly, why, if you BF past the first few weeks, do people always assume that it must be because you haven't had any problems/because you found it easy? People are always saying to me 'oh, I couldn't BF as I had sore nipples/cracked nipples/bleeding nipples/mastitis/thrush/my baby wanted feeding constantly' etc etc. Well, yes and that must have been awful, but it wasn't that you couldn't BF, it was that you chose not to continue.
Plenty of people experience all that and more and still carry on and I know I'm in a bad mood because of the mastitis, but I really feel it undermines the effort some people put in to keep BF.
Sorry, rant over...
