AARRGHH!! Nasty doctor rant! :'( am i over reacting here?

wow. Just wow. I think I would've walked out of that room and flipped right the hell out. First of all, I WISH I looked as good as you. I had a successful pregnancy being much bigger than you. I think she is on crack. I guess they didn't teach her people skills in med school. I would either switch doctors or request to ONLY see the other doctor from now on and make sure it is NICE AND BIG on your chart. And the fact that they aren't either recording info about your miscarriages or not bothering to read it...unacceptable. Screw her, go to your fertility clinic, and see if they can recommend a new OB/Gyn for you that is more sensitive to your specialized needs. Damn. If my doctor did that, she would not make it out of the room. LOL

That is the most horrible thing Ive ever heard!! Shocking. When feeling fragile after mc, there is nothing worse than that! I feel horrible about myself and everyone is being super sweet, I cant imagine what it would be like if people were horrible to me! Im so sorry to hear your story and if I was u I would complain, cause she shouldnt be allowed to do that to anyone.

OMG hun i am fuming for you i really am!!!!! how dare she say that. dont listen to her hun you aint fat at all! a size 14 imo isnt fat and is nowhere near what i think is fat.

definately complain hun she acted horribly and to say that you may of aborted a healthy baby well that is just outrageous. i am sure you saw for yourself that your baby had no heartbeat how dare she question that!!!!

please complain hunni you wont have to change practises if you dont want to just request not to see her in future. if you dont think of all the other women that will get hurt by her saying insensitive stupid things.

oh and just to add you arent wasting nhs resources you deserve that app as much as the next person. i was told when i found out about jessica by an icompetent consultant that i have 2 healthy girls and basically told me i shouldnt have the tests. b**llocks to that i say! i'll be damned if i dont get recurrent misscarriage tests and will fight tooth and nail for them.

we both have lost our babies and deserve to have answers as to why so we can have a healthy baby in the future and no one can tell us different. x

Hello lovely. Your dr is a big fat witch! I am so very sorry for your loss and I think if anyone had suggested that my ERPC was anything other than a vile necessity may have tipped me over the edge so I am very proud of your courage.
About the lump...I have a small cervical lump, I got an abnormal smear result, as was TTC went for a colposcopy (not painful and once you've been through EPU like water off a duck's back) but they did find a lump and so had biopsy, came back with result CIN1 which is mild pre-cancerous cells. BUT my consultant said this does not impact getting pregnant and shouldn't stop you trying, it will just mean if you do get BFP that they post-pone your next colposcopy and in 9 months cancer does not suddenly appear and so it's not a problem. Having post-poned TTC for 6 months while waited to get results I really regret the wasted time.
Good luck, please complain to your local primary health care trust - they should have someone you can talk to to help you decide whether to complain and what happens next.

OMG, hun I am so sorry!

Firstly, I think you look great in your pics, by no means fat!

Secondly, who the hell does she think she is to suggest that has anything to do with your m/c, she's a doctor you'd think she would know better. And to go on about using up NHS time, well is that not your right to go to a fertility clinic if you want to, why shoudn't you? This women obviously hasn't experienced any form of loss in her life and I hope she never has to.

You have enough on your plate hun, you've been through enough with your loss not to need this. If that were me hun I would most definately take it further, that women should have her rights to practice as a GP taken away from her.

Sorry to seem so harsh but am seething and furious for you.

Wow, that was harsh, unproffressional, inconsiderate, ignorant and just plain hogwash! I asked my "specialist" about my weight, and he said that only those who are severely obese usually have a problem LOSING a pregnancy. I would have told her that she is only a "GP" and to leave the diagnosing to those who are capable of it. Don't listen to her. Just let it go. She clearly doesn't know what she is talking about. She sounds like she has a huge chip on her shoulder, I would even consider making a complaint. We ALL know that she is wrong...I am actually laughing at her now...because she is just so so sooooooo stupid. But, you didn't need to hear that shit coming out of her mouth. You know you didn't "abort a healthy fetus". I don't know why she would have said that. She sounds mental, and jealous. Don't let that waste of space get under your skin...she ain't worth it!
