Abnormal Spotting?

Since im still bf my toddler thats almost two my husband and I have been using vcf or the strips as our only means of contraception. My periods are very regular & on time usually lasting a total of five days. It starts as spotting then gets heavier then usually spotting on the last day. My last period was May 19th-23rd. I started spotting on the 12th & its still continuing (currently 2 days late). The spotting varies from light pink, brownish, and at times a really dark red. At times it was slightly heavier (after waking up, walking in the evenings) & I thought it was starting but AF never started. I know implantation bleeding only lasts up to a few days. I have been very tired and having cramps. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!

Sounds like you just have a weird cycle this go around. My last cycle I had I spotted for 4 days (and it wasn't my usual brown, it was red/dark brown the whole 4 days). Very unlike me. I even spotted red for a couple days after.
