About to start IUI and New to this site... Any Advice?

Hi Everyone!

Here's a little background... I found this site a few months ago when my husband was having so problems in the bedroom. He started getting stressed TTC (it's been about 2 years) and couldn't "Finish". I wasn't sure if it was the stress or TTC or the anxiety medicine he was on. I found this site and i found a thread about vibrators that totally turned out to be GREAT and got us back in the game

So... after so more time actually TTC we decided to meet our doc about IUI a friend suggested we just talk to a doctor. we did... I did my HGS test (which was not fun) but turned out, my tubes are good to go...

Then it was the hubsters turn and his sperm count came back low...we went again and it came back low the second time.

The doc called today and said the hubster has to see a uroligist BUT we can start IUI. so that's good news right?!

I'm sorry for the huge story it's just been an emotional day the end of a regular two week wait today and then the call about the low sperm count BUt i should be happy about being able to do IUI right?

I don't know ... is there anyone even reading my rambling... ?? just need advice, help, encouragement!

Danielle-welcome to bnb this is a great website that wi hopefully help while we embark on the lttc journey. Hopfully not so long.

I'm not sure all the back ground but I definitley think it's great that u guys are moving forward!!!! I know it's in those month of limbo that everything gets really crazy and stressfull!!! IUI is probably ur best bet and still getting that appointment with the urologist . I'm not sure if infertility is cover under ur insurance but it's not ours and we've waited to do IUI because we want to b sure we have the most possibility. Buy remember it only takes 1!!!!!! 1 egg and 1 sperm to met
