About to start round 1 of chlomid: scared and excited

Hey kitty.... I'm hoping that you have just experienced implantation!!! Are you going to test??? I'm amazed you ovulated so early! I'm CD10 today and I'm gonna go do an OPk! I normally ov anything from CD16-19 and have a 32 day cycle so I best get 'at it'!!!! This is only my first round of clomid so it will be a miracle if it works first time but I still have hope!

Dantz.... Won't be long now before you're on clomid, I totally understand your frustration. I had 2 months off TTC and the whole time I felt like I was wasting time.....

I was really hoping it was implantation too but I'm really not sure it is. After my last post it disappeared for 2 days and then very light spotting returned occasionally. This has been going on for a week now and it's driving me crazy! I normally get heavy af and terribly painful cramps but this month I've had neither. If it was af then obviously I've totally missed cycle day 2 so will have to wait until next month to take the next round of magic pills.

Betty I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

What CD are you on now kitty??? Is it worth testing??? Can clomid make your AF very light???? I don't know but I would say test just to be sure. Did you have any scans to see if the clomid had worked for you this cycle???

Hi!

I'm only cycle day 28 (normally 30-32) but the spotting started on day 22! Think I'm going to see what happens over the weekend and then test then if nothing turns up. Trying really hard not yo get my hopes up??

No, didn't have a scan. My last blood tests before I started clomid showed that I ovulate on my own but that my progesterone was a little on the low side so have taken the clomid to give my body a boost.

Ok so it can't really be AF for you on CD22, lets hope that it's implantation especially if you OV on Cd10-11..... Fingers crossed!!!!
Everything ok my end, I'm only CD10 so a long way to go before I start to sweat!!!!

Hey ladies can I join you? I'm not on clomid yet but I will be shortly. I just had a dual loss-one miscarriage and a week later an ectopic was discovered in which my right tube was removed. It took almost four years for that bfp. My Dr is having me use opks my next two cycles and chart when ovulation is then putting me on clomid. I'm just curious as to what to expect so I will be stalking lol. She did warn me of twins or triplets but at this point dh and I are willing to take on more than one than non at all. I'm basically sitting around now waiting for AF to show up. I'm now 19 days post op and hoping she returns soon.

I'm actually CD8, it's my first round of clomid. I took 100 mg CD2-6, now am on estrogen CD7-11. Doc also prescribed baby aspirin, and lovenox when (PMA!!) I get my bfp.
I do ovulate on my own, but very late in the cycle, like cd 29. Hope clomid will help.

What sort of side effect did you get ladies?
I was soooo tired when taking the pills, and very short tempered. I'm ok now, feels good to be (almost) my normal self.

Hi Betty I'm on cd20 so going for bloods tomorrow. Had some mild cramping last mon an tue but gone today not much else so unsure fir thus month to be honest x x x how are guy getting on? x x

Hello mod19 and welcome.... I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, thats devastating after 4 years I really hope that clomid works for you and you get a sticky BFP very soon.... So will you start clomid as soon as the witch arrives??? I had a few mild side effects, slight headache, insomnia and vivid dreams but that was it and I would of happily put up with the worst side effects, I'm just glad to be on fertility drugs!!! I have had 5 lots of progesterone tests and they all came back very low and I was told I was not ovulating but I got a BFP (ended in MC at 9 weeks) so god knows what is going on with my body!! This is my first round of 50mg clomid and I'm CD11 today, going for a scan tmrw to see if I have produced any juicy eggs, fingers crossed!!! X

Hi! I won't be starting it till after two complete cycles. She wants my body to heal up from the surgery before we actively try again. I'm so hoping this works for us.
I was also on progesterone up till the mc but blood tests done prior to the bfp showed all levels were normal. We were just about to send dh in for a sa but then got the bfp. I switched doctors during the mc because mine at the time was an absolute jerk and this new one is AMAZING! So not sure if she's going to order one now. The last one was trying to push me off to a fs before doing all he could but this new one is giving me all my options. Soooo happy about that.

What round I'd clomid are you on? And, were you ovulating on your own prior or no...I'm confused lol.

Thx Betty. Well, I still got time. Lately my cycles have been 40-42 days, so you may be testing before me! Though I hope Clomid does the trick and makes me O earlier.

Had my scan today. Clomid did not work as expected. I had lots of follies but way too small (the biggests being 10 and 9 mm)
So I'm having fsh injections in the hope it will make them mature.

How are you all getting on?

2boyz, what CD did you have your scan?? Could it be that they scanned too early and your follies are still growing??
I had my Cd 12 scan last week and it showed I have 3 follies 2 of which said they should mature. I go back tmrw for another scan to see what is happening but I had a positive OPk last night so I'm hoping we catch those eggy's!!!! I'm in the UK so clomid is free on the NHS for me, we are so lucky over here, I have to say I have had fantastically treatment from my fertility hospital
