About to start round 1 of chlomid: scared and excited

cd 16....dont know what is going on...i was testing with ic and lines were getting dark day by dark with cm
but yesterday cm was not not there (too much) and lines were lighter then before.
i was having cramps from 3 days on and off.
i always feel ovulation but this time it was not like that...i thought it would be lot more stronger.but not i didnt feel anything just cramps (which i never have before o)
does that mean ive already ovulated.i was bding every other night
cd 11.13 but didnt bd last night at cd15 as hubby was out
i think i have missed the time...anyone??
its my 1st round of clomid without any monitoring ...50mg (2-6)
i usually O late like 24.25.23 (last three cycles)
anyone??

Betty: i had my scan cd11. I go tomorrow for a rescan to see what's going on with my follies. I usually ovulate quite late in the cycle, cd29. But I kinda hoped that I would a bit earlier with clomid.
It's great they gave you clomid. I'm in the uk too, but they refused to give me any because I already have 2 children.
i guess it depend which area you are.
I'm in algeria at the moment, so I took the time to go and see a private gynae, and this one is really good. Took the time to listen to my story and all, and she's monitoring me quite well too.
Let's hope it works.
Uzma: it could be that you haven't O'ed yet, but your body is getting ready for it. Hopefully O happens soon.

Hi ladies. I am at the end of my first cycle of clomid. I took it cycle days 3-7 and now I am on cycle day 28. I usually get my period by now and if looks like she may appear or I'm just spotting. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but my period is usually always the same start spotting on cycle day 27 and she always appears on cycle day 28. Does clomid delay your period? Help!!!!

Hope you're all well? Well af arrived in full force on day 28 after a full week of spotting. After a lot of discussion dh and I have decided to have a break from the whole ttc journey. It's been a very emotional time and I really feel we need to step away from it for a while and concentrate on other areas of our lives. Think the decision was helped by the fact that I had no idea what cd I was on due to the spotting so potentially missed the start of my second cycle of clomid. Thank you so much for all your kind messages and support. I wish all of you lots of luck and baby dust.

Baby someday- clomid actually had the opposite affect on me and caused me to spot really early. Sending lots of positive thoughts.
Uzma- the advice my dr gave me was bd every other day throughout the month as clomid can make you ovulate early or late so that way you hopefully won't miss it.
