I used accupuncture when I was on a course of Zoladex for my endometriosis. Not only did it really relax me at a very stressful time but it helped with the side effects that came with the Zoladex (sickness, headaches, hot sweats).
I carried on using it after my course ended and was pregnant within 3 months, although sadly I lost that baby.
When I've given birth this time, if the endometriosis comes back I will definitely use accupuncture to deal with pain management. I wish I'd not been a sceptic/scared for so many years!
I'm really lucky I can claim it on my health insurance. I don't know exactly how it works but it does! My Mum has used it through chemo and my Dad has used it for chronic fatigue syndrome.
