Accuracy of Sexing Scans

My cousin Rebekah was said to be a boy but of course nope a girl.
I'm pretty sure mines a girl I've had 3 different people 2 techs and a doctor at different times tell me it's a girl. But if it's a boy that's fine too. We bought a few girl outfits and if it's not right then we'll give them to my brother's wife if they end up having a girl.

One of my friends was pregnant with twins (or so she was told) and at 20 week scan she was told they were both boys (non identical) however she ended up having triplets all girls. She said she didnt know who was more suprised her or the midwife. Just goes to show they are not 100%.

Ok, I get mixing up the sex of a baby, but seriously how did they miss one entire baby, and the fact there wasn't a penis among the lot?!? That is just nuts, or I guess a lack there of.

They said something about the 3rd baby being behind the other 2 and she was very small compaired to her sisters, although she is making up for it now lol.

At my 20 week scan we were told they think its a girl but its never 100% accurate so we havent bought anythign pink just incase.
I have heard of lots of cases of people who were told they were having girls and out popped a boy! apparently the can "hide" their willy lol. I went to college with 2 girls, both were expecting girls and both had boys !!

My advice is (this is what we did anyway):

When you buy something confirm with the shop that if you keep the reciepts you can take it back to either get your money back or exchange it. If it is clothing this is fine but as for big furniture obviously you would have to wait for LO to be born before putting it together. x
