Hi Ladies,

Looking for a bit of advice.
So, I've had constant aches and pains since being in second tri. I had it a bit in first tri, but I was probably too busy throwing up to notice it regularly.
The usual pains I get vary; the main one is like a stomach ache but in my uterus - it varies in amount, so I think it's just stretching, but it's very uncomfortable. Sometimes I get sharp pains but they usually only last a few seconds, maybe a minute max, and they are far less regular (maybe once or twice a week). I would say that probably 80% of the time I feel a mixture of uncomfortable or in mild-moderate pain. (This doesn't include all the extra back pain and leg pain too :S)
This is my first, so I have no idea what's normal, and what is not. My guess would be that it's normal, I don't get the feeling that anything's wrong, but at the same time, I feel terrible pretty much all the time.

Since my morning sickness finally left about a week and a half ago, I have been getting headaches at least 2-3 times a day. I take paracetamol but it doesn't always fix it. Still get occasional waves of nausea, but fortunately nothing as bad as the MS I had before. I just want this to get a bit easier. I know I'm hormonal as well, but sometimes I just have to go into the stock room at work and cry, because I feel so so tired and so so uncomfortable. Any thoughts or advice very much appreciated, I feel like I'm the only one that feels this bad, but then again, I haven't really had anyone to ask

I can't say what's normal as this is my first too however I'm uncomfortable alot of the time too with pains in tummy, especially down low and it's stretching feeling pain and I get the sharp pains as well like pin pricks going over tummy. Also I'm suffering from headaches bad too which have started in last few days :hugs:

Aw, I'm sorry you've got it too, I guess it must be normal then! FX it gets easier huh..

I've been having some of that overall aching belly this time (didn't with my daughter), but I am having twins this time, so I just figured it's quick stretching from them growing too quickly. I'm not really worried about it. The doctor only asks about severe pain or bleeding.

Hi girls.... Also my first time. But i am definitely just uncomfortable every day. Not really in pain, but you're right, its always something!!! Keeping fingers crossed that it gets better.

I've had period type pains this evening more towards the left side by my hip above my pubic bone ... I'm pretty sure jaxon has flipped head down because I've felt his little knees and kicks up in my rib cage ... Not sure if that has anything to do with it ... I don't think its not preterm labor since its not really in waves at all and I have no bleeding, the pain isn't severe, and I'm not leaking any fluid ... Could stretching pains feel like period cramps ?

cordelia- this is my first also and I'm feeling EVERYTHING you're feeling too! I'm pretty sure its all normal but it really is sooo uncomfortable! and now that the back/feet/hip pain has kicked in its even worse!!

adriansmama- in the beginning all of my growing/stretching pains felt like period cramps. i really havnt felt the cramps nearly as much as i did before though

Adriansmama, I had cramp type pains before, doc told me as long as they were mild it's nothing to worry about. Now it's less like cramps and more aches, it's hard to describe really.

I had some period type cramps early in pregnancy too and when I googled it everything said it was normal... I didn't have them forever and now when I google at almost 26 weeks it says pre term labor ... So confusing ... I laid in bed watched some tv and went to sleep and now it seems to be gone thank goodness

I woke up this morning after I peed with the same pains. Lower right back into pelvis into leg. I have read that this is normal as long as there is no blood or fever. It sure is uncomfortable and I hope it passes soon.
