Hi guys,

I don't know if this is going to sound totally stupid, but I just wondered if anyone knows if either of these things can be related to early pregnancy symptoms?

I know with my dd I didn't notice any pregnancy symptoms before my bfp but afterwards I found I had achy inner thighs and 'restless' legs very early on and would be constantly needing to stretch out in bed and then get cramp in my legs.

Well the last 2 nights I've been feeling the exact same thing. Its only my first month ttc and we've had regular unprotected sex and I know I've already ovulated but I'm pretty certain I couldn't be feeling any symptoms yet as I think ovulation only took place 5 days ago, maybe 6.

A couple of other 'symptoms' I've been having is frequent trips to the loo, sometimes twice during the night, and a congested nose, often with blood (sorry if tmi), and this was something I had throughout my entire pregnancy before.

I swore I would never symptom spot and get caught up in the whole ttc stuff but omg I can't help it! It's this site! Lol! It does this to me and turns me into a symptom spotting baby mad crazy lady!

Any help appreciated!

I'm generally an achey person so that wouldn't be a symptom for me. If you are 5/6dpo you may be getting some symptoms due to the hormones if implantation has occured.
Symptom spotting is annoying though, I never realised how much my body does naturally until I'd been ttc for 6 months.
:dust: FX it is early symptoms for you.

Thanks dreambaby, I hate this symptom spotting. We were meant to just be dtd every other day and keeping it simple like last time but I just can't help it!

It's probably just my body doing what it does but I can honestly say I don't remember my body ever being like this apart from when I was pregnant :/

I guess I'll see in a few weeks!

Hey hon, I tend to get achey legs before af arrives, not crampy just achey! However my friend who is pg has been getting lots of leg cramps, especially at night in bed and she said it's mentioned in lots of her pregnancy books... Hope it's a good sign for you!!!!! :dust:

Thanks Gettingbroody, I guess it's just a waiting game now. I'm so trying not to read into anything but god it's hard!

Especially as today I've been hit by intense waves of nausea. Af isn't due for a while yet and I don't normally get any af symptoms other than stomach cramps the day before she's due. These achy legs are only at night in bed and feel like I've pulled all the muscles on my thighs and in my groin.

Hmm, oh well! Fingers crossed but I'm ver doubtful. I was lucky enough to fall pregnant first cycle last time, I really don't see it happening this time too!

Hey, I got my BFP yesterday and had achey legs on Wednesday and Thursday, It kind of felt like I had bruised the tops of them when I touched them aswell. I wasn't symptom spotting but definitely remember this one :) oh and hot flashes :)

Hiya Susie,

Congratulations on your bfp!

Thanks for sharing, I guess it gives me a little hope that there's a tiny chance it might be a pregnancy symptom and not just my body playing tricks!

How many dpo were you when you got your bfp and how early did you start noticing the achy legs?

Xxx

I was 16dpo I think out of a 36 day cycle when I got the BFP.
Tested at 14dpo and BFN.
Achy legs at 15dpo and 16dpo.
Thinking about it I had lots of symptoms, I just never expected it to happen. Honestly thought OH didn't "work" lol

Well congratulations again and here's to a happy and healthy 9 months for you.

Hopefully I won't be too far behind you in the tri's!

Thank you for your help, gonna have to find something to occupy my mind now until I can test or af shows up!
