Acne and Ovulation?

I normally get a bit of acne a couple of days before AF. but the last couple of months I have noticed i am get acne about a week and a half after AF.
This month I got 2 large spots on my right jawline on saturday which is CD12. I have a 30 day cycle and predicted ovulataion is CD15. I am using OPK's for the first time staring yesterday, it was negative, so i am hoping to get an actual ovulation day. But could acne be an ovulation sign?

I came off depo earlier this year and have had about 4 cycles since but havent ovulated. I think I ovulated for the first time this month and the day before I ovulated, I came out in loads of spots on my cheek and left side of my jaw. Very odd as I never get spots.

Yes, acne on the jaw line is hormonal. I get it for ovulation and AF. it sucks really. Usually you can tell what side you will ovulate based on what side of your jaw your acne is on. Its kind of neat.

Come to think about it, I have been getting light cramping on my right lower stomach.

I was the same way! I used to get acne when AF was on her way now its when I O. I also get bloated during O now rather than AF... wierd how our bodies change!

I get it too.....jawline.... and also currently around mouth and chest.... not very attractive!

OMG!!!!! Too cool!! I always wondered why only one side gets most of it hahaha. Last month my left side was bad and now this month my right side is horrible. Now I know

Its pretty neat how it is an indication on which side you ovulate, in my opinion lol. I had read it before and then when i started getting my follicle scans, i confirmed that it was right! I get acne at af and ovulation. By the time one clears up, its time for another round. Its awful because i also get cystic acne and its so painful!! But this cycle, i actually barely broke out and i'm on clomid with a trigger shot. I think its all the water i've been drinking though. My chest did break out alot after the trigger..

I have terrible acne since getting off bc!! Its on my back, neck, chest, and of course pizza face!! I look and feel like a middle schooler! Its so embarrassing, especially since women my age shouldnt look like this.

I turn 31 this week and i have worse acne now than i did as a teenager!

Me too! My skin was clear and I had a great complexion. I'm 30 now and my face looks horrible. It sucks!!!

This happened to me as well when I got off the bcp. It took about 6 months for most of it to go way. Now I usually get some only on my face during ovulation and AF. I would rather my face than my body. Makeup can cover your face but the body ones are hard to hide especially in summer.
