Hello,
I have been TTC no 1 now for just under 2 years. Had initial tests done and all seems ok. I decided to start acupuncture about 3 months ago. As I am healthy and no real problems I have just one session a month.
Before I started I generally had long cycles and wasn't ovulating until day 18. But I have been seeing my acupuncturist around day 13 and each time ovulate the next day or so, which is great as I then have 28 day cycles. So feels like it must be doing something.
But I have been doing ovulation tests and I seem to get just one day of positive. I also tried the digital one and mine went straight to peak fertility and missed high. So I am not sure if I ovulate on the day I get the positive, from the pains I get it feels like it.
Sorry as I am not really asking a question, just wish I had a few positive days so would feel like I have longer to try.

Would love to hear if acupuncture has worked for anyone else.

Hi Biddes. I'm still fairly new to all of the tracking/charting stuff so I probably can't be of great help. I first did opks last cycle and evidently completely missed my surge. I followed all the recommended steps--test in afternoon, close to same time every day, reduce liquids, etc. My frustrated research basically told me that it is possible for some women to have a short enough surge that they can miss it, so I imagine it is fairly common for some women to have just the one day of detected surge. Blah

As for acupuncture, I haven't tried it yet since TTC, but I have used it with success for other ailments. So I am thinking it's time to find a practitioner again and give it a try for this, too. I hope that you'll be able to find success with it and finally get your little one!

Hello!

I tried acupuncture. I'm not sure if it actually helped much or not, but I did enjoy it. I was doing it for about 4 months until what looks like to be a sticky bean

I mainly started doing it because after 2 CP's & a mc I felt like my hormones & body needed an internal hormonal rebalancing. And in one way or another I guess it did help.

Do your research, I did end up changing practitioners as I didn't feel I was getting what I wanted from my first.
