addicted to pregnancy testing?

is it just me or are there other women out there who constantly take pregnancy tests? expecialy the ttc group and u get the funny ningle and u think u may be and then you jsut take a wee sneaky test every day even before your due on, only to be disapointed?

I did when I just came off my pill and had a missing period for 7 weeks! I had loads of preggo symptoms too but obviously it was neg and I eventually came on.

Seeing as I went a little bit mad on ebay and bought about 100 opk's and 30 hpt I know in my 2ww I'll be poas like a crazy woman! I don't think you're alone hun!. x

Not yet then hun! If it were me I'd try around 10 dpo but even thats a bit soon for some

woo me to me to, im nearly as addicted to talking about it as well! any excuse! i test at least once a day sometimes twice, but i am 18DPO so its getting worse as dont know what going on. Have been through around 15 tests so far this month, really want a blood test now. Would it be worth testing with an ovulation tester, would that show anything if there are HCG levels?

wen we 1st started TTC i took tests near enuf every month b4 the
is due but now i dont as i started seriously obsessing and getting reali upset, now i just take things as they come as i know im NEVA a day late, am always early or bang on time so am just looking for natural syptoms

I was the same for months! i got them in packs of 20 and went through a lot of them. Then I did get a positive. Hang in there!

When I was first ttc a few years ago I would buy big packs of hpt and opk's, now I cut waaaayyyyy down. I only use hpt when close due to my period. Dont bother to much with opk's.

lol well thnx for that everybody least we know were not alone in hoping for bfp i was due on today but nothing has apeared did a test yest and it was a bfn, yes iv been getting loads of symptoms i think your body enjoys taking the piss sometimes good luck all

Because of my age I have been charting with opk just to get a feel of what is going on before I ttc. I would do the clearblue calculator in the morning and then opk at least once during day. Trying to figure out when it would happen lol. Got to the point where I was always thinking if I needed go on a stick whenever I went to the bathroom lol.

I am so with you girls. We're NTNP, but in the months where we do during my fertile time, I'm POAS like crazy. I usually start at 9 DPO and do an FRER every morning until AF. But I've gotten to know my body pretty well over the last year since I've been paying more attention, and as I see those PMS signs rolling in, I get less and less hopeful. For some reason, ever since DD was born (2008) I get night sweats a couple days before AF starts. I read online that a drop in progesterone can cause a night sweat, so once I get a night sweat I know I'm not pregnant-- yet I keep POAS!

I haven't taken ordered hpts online yet, but I want to. Tests are too expensive here to take them frivolously, but I wish I could test more! I could see how its easy to get addicted.

4 days late still no sign of the witch an i had bad period like cramp sunday but nothing apeared, and now all symptoms i thought i had has disapeared dont wanna take a test lol

I test pretty much cycle-round! Even when AF has showed "just in case"!!!
