Adult stockings

Do you do them for you OH? I usually put his bits in a gift bag but end up spending loads on little bits! So what do you put in them and how much do you budget? X

We have done in the past but don't think we are going to bother this year. We just spent more money on small things just to fill the stockings x

yeah i love stockings
will prob do one this year for DH too. just with necessities and little bits he will use - as he never usually uses things i put in there, they just sit in his cupboard! haha xx

We do each other one with stuff like razors, deoderant and other necessities.

I've never had a stocking before so OH is buying a stocking for us both (I'm super excited)

I plan on putting in things like;
Chocolate coins
Sweets
Pair of socks
Electronic drum sticks since he can't use his real ones (They are only about £10).
Silly jokey things.

We've given ourselves a limit on how much to spend in the stockings so that we do no go overboard as we will have bigger presents as well.

We do them They always contain chocolate coins! They also include socks, maybe a pack of hair ties for me, a rubber duck for my brother (he collects them), a pen, deodrant, that kind of stuff x

We do stockings, MASSIVE one for Chloe then I do one for OH with like razors, deodrant, jokey things, boxers, socks etc etc in and he usually does the same for me, but last year he went ALL OUT on my stocking - it had Take That Album, Perfume, Filofax, ITunes Voucher, Umbrella, Sex in the City 2 DVD and loads of other stuff [over £100 worth] I was soooooo shocked - then he opened his - DOH!!!! lol

i think i will do one this year, as were not buying eachother a big present, were buying a joint present that we both want (a new tablet pc!)

We do! We mostly just have fun with it. Like in his i'll put candy, stupid fun things that he loves but would never buy, and little things he needs like toothpaste, deoderant, boxers. etc. We don't really spend alot on the stockings.

Ow I'm thinking this year all three of us when Peanut arrives are going to have one and pos thoughout next year make three stockings for us personal and passes time..

regarding what to put in... hum... OH birthday is on 23rd Dec so the stocking filler always get opened for his birthday.. good ideas though and most are cheap and afordable without seeing it dinting the bank!

OH's stocking always has crisps, socks and chocolate coins. Other than that i fill it with things like a CD, DVD, scratch card, book, finger puppets, bottle of beer, badges, keyring and daft wee things he'd think were cool but would never buy himself. Women's stockings are much easier! Mum's gets filled with things like hot chocolate, nail polish, mug, emery boards, make up, costume jewellery, candles, photo frame as well as the compulsory socks, coins, crisps, apple and satsuma.

I love gifts like stockings as more thought goes into them. Me and the oh do them for each other-we started it our first christmas together as we hadn't been together long and it was easier than finding a big pressent. Oh normally spends too much on mine though! This year for his i'm thinking tool bits, body shop hemp handcream, wallet, change purse(for in his work van), itunes voucher, case/cover for his phone, christmas boxers then sweets and choc to pad it out.
