advent calendars..how do you do it?

i was planning on giving LO his advent calendar after his breakfast but OH wants us to do it all together so we decided that we all do ours after dinner when OH is home, how do you do it ? xx

we always did it after breakfast when I was at home with the parents but think were doing them after dinner this year as it's a nightmare trying to get Lucas to eat breakfast so don't want him thinking he can have chocolate for not eating breakfast

I let my LO's have it first thing in the morning! They still eat their breakfast though!

Me and maddi had ours mid morning today DH will catch up with his at the week probably, with maddi attacking him

We do ours in the evening just before bed. Our isn't chocolate though, mine is a homemade one with little decos to hang up. I can't explain it will. Will take piccies and post about it later, I'm interested to know if anyone else have the same.
