I am looking for advice and help on what to do next. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, (i'm 33), we decided to TTC a year ago for a family. I tend to fall pregnant very quickly and according to our consultant are fertile. However I MC in Aug 2008, then had an ectopic pregnancy in NOV2008 which was hell and was treated with methotrexate, and then had a MC 4 days ago. I have never gone passed 7 weeks.

I am so upset, tired, and have cried alot, but worse of all feel I have failed my husband yet again. It seems at my age all my friends are falling pregnant so easily, people keep saying to me to take a holiday and it will happen for us, but I'm begining to loose faith. People say it is easier for me as at least I'm conceiving, however right now and over the past 6 months it doesnt feel like that. Whats worse I'm dreading the due date of the first MC in April, I had always immaged that we would be pregnant by now. The hospital will not do any blood tests until I have a third MC. I want to try find out my options as I want to see if I can do anything different or if there are any tests that I can ask for.

Reading this web site has helped me alot, and I am looking for anyone who has been through similar and has any advice.

Sorry ive not advice :hugs: sorry for your losses ....have you asked your GP about tests ?

Yes they have told me to wait under the care of the early pregnancy support centre. Thank you for taking the time to contact as it means alot.

So sorry for your losses :hug: to me you have had 3 losses and you should be entitled to help. I have had 2 m/c because of my age I pratically begged my gynae to run some test although I think the basic tests hormones and sticky blood syndrome both came back normal, however he did say that when I get a :bfp:again he recommends I take baby aspirin which helps the flow of blood to uterus. I must say he did also say that it may not help either and that it is so common for woman to have m/c even after 3 he said there is still a 60% chance of a successful healthy pregnancy. If I was you I would go back to my GP or see another DR and explain how much this is distressing to you and your DH and that you would like to be checked even if for piece of mind....:hug:

You have NOT failed your husband you are amazing big cyber hugs x x x

Thanks for the information, I have been reading about taking baby asprin and my husband thinks it is a good idea. The Dr's do not count the ectopic as a MC as it had to be terminated and it could have been a successful pregnancy if it had been in the right place. However i also feel that it should be taken into account.
I think I will contact the GP's agian and the early pregnancy support centre again for more options.
Thank you for your kind words and hugs, i don't feel so alone.

You are def not alone sweetie you have a lot of good peeps on here to offer support and advice!

I wish you lots of :dust::dust:for the future..keep us posted if you can x x x x

I'm so sorry for your losses, it must be so frustrating to have gone through all that and still be told to wait for another loss before getting any answers :hissy: I really feel for you.

Definitely do not think of yourself as a failure- i know it is easy to start blaming yourself but it really isn't your fault that this has happened :hugs:

I hope you get some answers and your sticky bean soon :hug:
