Advice and comfort please...Could I have ovarian cancer

I started AF on Tue....my stomach was soooo bloated and on wed/thurs my abdomen was soooo sore and hurt when I touched it, I just kept going though. I had another blood test for ca125...this can show endometriossi or ovarian cancer.

Low and behold the levels were high. I am now even more shit scared that if it is cancer and then I can't have kids. I was crying and crying on Saturday. I was in so much pain still and then I told my friend who is a gp and she said that it could be cancer and i should be referred asap for a scan. Of course you cant get past the bloody gp receptionists cos I already tried to book an appointment on friday.

This made me even more distressed and I was nearly crying at the hatch. I just dont know how anyone will listen to me. Has this happened to anyone else? I could really do with some support right now.

I feel really sore down below aswell now. I don't know what that is. I have never had thrush but I dont think it is that. I am going to casualty but I don't know even if they will do anything or even listen to me.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I'm afraid I know very little about it, but all I can say is try and stay calm, chances are it's going to be just fine. Try ringing NHS direct perhaps? Hopefully you'll be able to see a proper GP asap and they'll get you in for a scan.

I went to casualty and cos by the time he saw me, I was still bloated but less....then he said it could be appentix?? I doubt it....was a bad idea to go casualty cos he didnt have my prev blood results. I then went to gp and he is referring me for a US scan...he said it should show up appendix if it is that or even show endometriosis scarring which is what i think it is. So fingers crossed i will know soon what is wrong with me,. The other person i called was the FN who took that ca125 blood test but she wasnt there and receptionsist said she would get her to call back ...and no one has...but i may go and see her on fri on my cd12 scan.

Sorry you are feeling so scared but to be honest, if they seriously suspected ovarian cancer they would have sent you for testing straight away. My auntie had it. They're pretty on the ball when it's suspected.

emergency will likely do a scan while you are there so I would do that hun, I wa shaving leg pain and no one would even give me an xray so I went to emerge where they xrayed me and it turned out I had a tumour in my tibia (non cancer though) next thing I knew I was wrapped in cast and booked in for surgery. My ideas about cancer or endo... I hear cancer isn't suppose to hurt like that or even much at all but endo is suppose to be severely painful. Good luck
