hey everyone :D

My LO is 3 weeks old now for the past week through the night shes been sleeping from 12-6 but the past 2 nights shes she been going every 3 hours i give her cow n gate and shes on 4oz she doesnt always drink the full 4 oz tho. is there anything i should be doing so she sleeps through?

yeah, wait for her to get older... They feed often because they have tiny tummys. Are you really expecting a 3week old to sleep thru the night?

my LO woke every 3hrs as a tiny newborn - I though that was amazing as she would go straight back down again for another 3hrs and so would I!
you are very lucky to have a baby that does 3hrs :-)

no i dont expect it...i have no experiance with babies before my LO and i just didnt know what was normal.

thanks for the advice and from reading some blogs i feel really lucky to have a baby that goes 3/4 hours on a night

there are plenty of 8mth olds + on here not even doing that :haha:

Don;t worry about it hun, newborns only have tiny tummies and can't take very much per feed so they get hungry very often usually. My LO feed every 2 hours day/night, sometimes every 1.5 hours in the daytime lol. She will go longer in time, also there is a growth spurt usually around the 6 week mark so watch out for that xxx

Zoe, my newborn slept 6 hours too til 3 weeks when he started doing 3 hourly stretches like yours :flower: xx

thanks its so amazing how their whole bodies work and that we created them.

i worried this morning as i gave her last feed at 11 last night she settled at about 12 and then woke me up this morning at 8! 8 hours kip she had. Jus wondering if i should of woke her up for her feed in the night?
