my baby is 9 days old. From day 2 she would eat upto 3oz every 3-4 hrs, and then a couple of days later upped it to 3-4 oz every 3-4hrs.

The last 2days she has wanted to eat every 2 or so hrs and has between 1 and 4oz.

Is it normal for her to change like this?

also she struggles to bring up wind, could that be why she isn't taking as much milk? Can anyone recommend something to help with wind we are using infacol atm, which helped a bit but not massively (i'm in the UK)

All perfectly normal. I would persist with the infacol and gentle winding after feeds. Unless LO is uncomfortable with trspped wind then she's fine! Once LO is 12 weeks old you can try gripe water.

Try feeding her little amounts more often (every 1-3 hours). Newborns have very small stomachs and 3-4 oz is probably a lot for her all at once (which might be why she is having so much wind). They tend to also eat fairly often to keep their blood sugar up. She'll probably do better eating little and often with lots of winding. Sometimes formula is hard on babies' stomachs so she also might just need some time to adjust to it or some extra cuddling. If you think she is really uncomfortable, I second using gripe water, though we used it from about 8 weeks (not regularly, but maybe once a week), just gave 1/2 the usual dose. I find it helps a lot with constipation and reflux, not sure about with wind. I think that benefits more from just some good burping, which might take some practice on your part until you find what works best.

I tried unravel but it made no difference, now I swear by dentinox colic drops
