Hi,

I've just done a home pregnancy test well, 2 actually- just to make sure.

And I AM PREGNANT! AMAZING NEWS!!!

So, at the risk of sounding like a total idiot- what do I do now?? I must be 9 weeks- I have been so stressed I didn't even realise!

Do I just go and see a GP?? It is so frustrating that it is the weekend- I want to go and ask someone a hundred questions right now!

xx
This website is amazing- I am so glad I found it.

sorry if I am being stupid but could someone explain what a BFP is or an AF?? Or if there is somewhere on the site to find out?

Congratulations!!!!

Ring the Dr's on monday and ask them - surgeries have different procedures. Mine booked me in with the midwife the day I found out (3 weeks ago) and my appointment will be tuesday when I'm 7 wks + 3.

Do you know when you're last period was to work out how many weeks you are??

Here's the lingo....

BFP is big fat positive and AF is Aunt Flo (period) :winkwink:

it was over Christmas so I've worked out I must be 9 weeks.

I wasn't expecting to be pregnant so I just ignored that I was really late because I'm pretty irregular anyway and have been super busy and stressed for the last couple of months. I feel like a bit of an idiot!

Here's a good little calculator to give you an idea.

wow- you are quick! thank you xx

I am so excited- my boyfriend has a slightly shellshocked look about him though- whoops!

If you're irregular you might not be quite where you think. T
The Dr/MW will be able to do tests/scans etc to give you a more accurate idea.

OK -Cool. thank you, will call them 1st thing Monday.

Have a good weekend.

Congratulations on your :bfp: and welcome to B&B. You're so right, this is an amazing site :)
Look forward to sharing :hugs:
