Advice on clomid please...

I am finally allowed to start clomid after all the tests and months of waiting, I'm starting on 50mg which I will take next week, basically I wanted to know a few things before I start taking it please if anyone could help?-

I heard it can thin uterus lining- what can I take to stop this?

Affects cm- what can I take to prevent this?

Baby aspirin?- what is it and what is it used for? And can it be brought from a chemist as never seen that label?

Best of all any success stories on 50mg clomid anyone would like to share to help me have some hope???????

With regards to the dosage, that works for some ladies, not all, depends how each individual responds to the drug so whilst there are success stories you just have to wait and see really.

I think with the CM it can cause it (in few cases) to become drier or 'sperm unfriendly' I would suggest using lubricant if it has that effect. Once again, every last is different.

I don't know the answers to your other questions but all in all.... Good luck!! Hope my dr will prescribe it for me soon too!!

Thank you for your reply, I'm not good with the whole cm thing so I think I will buy it and just use it all the time.

I'm sure your doctor will, I had to go to a fertility clinic with my first appointment in December- after test after test then they gave me chlomidnit took 4 months and they feel the longest of my life as all I wanted was help trying but it is worth the wait as the sayin goes- good things come to those who wait

When will you know if you will get clomid?

Not sure, got gynaecologist app on May 12th so guess see what they have to say. Dr said they'll prob do more blood tests, ultra sound etc and from there I'll be referred to 'infertility clinic' horrid phrase that innit

Yes it sure is but think positive as I started feeling and thinking negative and it doesn't help, but I'm sure we will get a bfp soon you may even fall pregnant in the mean time a friend of mine did during her wait

Really really hope so!! Thought I had some signs of ovulation last week but dunno if was just symptom spotting?? We shall see I guess

Would rather get pregnant naturally if I can, tryin to chill out. Had hellih stressful 4 - 5 months owing to lots of family stuff, only really been march an April that haven't been so stressful so am hoping that'll have a positive effect now oh, and lots more exercise too

I didn't ovulate at all the first month on it on 50 mg days 5-9 but did and got pregnant on second month 50 mg days 2-6. The baby aspirin is supposed to help with the lining, but on 50 mg I don't think it is a huge issue unless you are on it for many months. Again on 50 mg I don't think cm is impacted too much, I actually had lots, but since I was hardly ovulating on my own, I don't know if it would have been more or less than normal. But you can use preseed to help with that, its a sperm friendly lubricant, we used it and loved it. Tons of baby dust sent your way!

I'm on 100 mg and have had no cm for the past 2 months (since starting clomid). Also, my af was only 1.5 days long last time! Not good! My doc said yes, it will dry up cm, but he thinks it's overrated (HA!) so not to worry about it. We use preseed.

Regarding the uterus lining, he said it can definitely do that, which is why people shouldn't be on it for more than a few months. I specifically asked if there was anything I could do at home to help this and he said no. But I started baby aspirin anyway, just in case. I just don't like the "wait and see" attitude!

I've also been reading about a product called FertileCM in pills...supposed to give you more cm. Might be a scam though, who knows?

Hi girls I've been reading a LOT of b&b posts over the last few weeks and a few other women have said that grapefruit juice has really helped their cm....guess it couldn't do any harm? Also Evening primrose oil capsules but only up until ovulation

Scerena - what tests did u have to have before u were prescribed clomid? I'm waiting to see a fs but am hoping he'll give me clomid quickly....there's so many ladies on here who've had success with it.

Hi justwantababy I had a hycosy, blood test and oh had a SA.
Mammawannabee and rosababy- thanks for your replies I am trying conceive plus once af comes and I can take my clomid heard good reviews about it! - hope it works!
