Hi

I have just had my second miscarriage. I am 38 and do not want to try again until I've seen a consultant who can at least do some testing or advise me on whether to try the baby asprin / progesterone etc. The NHS will not look into anything until I have 3 miscarriages but I cannot bear the thought of entering into another pregnancy only to lose it again.

Unlike my first miscarriage, this time I ended up in hospital for three days after haemorrhaging and found the whole thing even more horrific that the time before.

You ladies seem to have a wealth of knowledge and any recommendations for London or Essex consultants you have used would be great.

Thanks

xx

Prof Regan is one of the top mc specialists in the uk. She does some private work at St Marys in paddington. Her nhs clinic is really busy so we're seeing her privately so I can guarantee I see her and not one of her registrars. Her clinic is amazing. In my opinion I'm really lucky to be seeing her.

I'm so sorry for your losses xx

Thank you. I have an appointment for 4th July - seems a bit of a way off but will give me a few months to get a bit better. First day back at work today... need to get myself back to normal if I can!

Good luck with your appointment xx
