Advice on my short cycle and late ov

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on my cycle and whether i need to be doing anything to improve my chances. #1 was conceived in 2 cycles ttc. #2 i came off bcp 8 cycles ago and am on cycle 5 ttc. My cycles seem to be getting worse. In my previous time round i was very average with 28 day cycles and ov around cd14. This time my cycles have been getting shorter, mainly 26 days and last month 25. Ov (judged using cbfm and ic opks) is also later first few cycles was cd13-15 but the past few have been cd16-17. I am on cd 17 this cycle but still no high opk (i think tomorrow as its starting to show colour) but then ov could be cd 18 or even 19. This means my leutal phase is pretty short. Also i have been bleeding more heavily on af than before and can be 8-9 days where it was 4-5 (this was pre-pregnancy #1 as have been on the pill until 8 cycles ago). Any advice? Wait it out for longer or take any action?

I would get some advice and i know lots of ladies here use vit b6 to lengthen luteal phase a bit-im struggling with mine too...might be worth getting progesterone levels checked-just a simple blood test 1 wk after Ov. If your lp is actually only about a week, it will be next to impossible to get pregnant as the lining is gone before the egg even tries to implant. Its very treatable hun but i would take action

Thanks hun, i keep hoping the late ov will push out af but it doesnt happen. I always thought in the uk we had to wait til 12 months before nhs will do any tests or anything but i might be wrong does any one know?

Im in ireland and here its a year or 3 losses before theyll test. But my gp does bloods for 30 euro so its not like paying for fertility treatment or seeing specialists. Even Oing late usually doesnt change your luteal phase, sometimes i O day 10, sometimes day 16 but my lp is the same length give or take a day. Hopefully it could just b down to birth control, hope its better this month!

Thank you for commenting much appreciated. Cd18 and def positive opk so probably ov tomorrow. Heres hoping. If this month i have no luck, i will see if the gp will give me a blood test
