Hi

We got a fantastic deal on Tesco Direct at the weekend for a stroller which says it is usable from birth. We picked it up yesterday and the stroller does go back but not completely flat.

The advice given by the NHS is that baby's up to 6 months should be laid flat in their pram/buggy. My worry is that the stroller isn't completely flat - does it have to be? I mean it does say its suitable from birth and it is BSN approved.

Appreciate any advice

Cheers

How flat does it go?
the flatter the better really.

I never had my LO completely flat in her buggy. Infact from about 8 weeks we sat it up a bit as she hated being flat when we were out. She's just so nosey and couldn't see what was going on!

My LO has never been flat due to reflux either!

Most buggies that say flat don't actually mean completely flat and are in fact slightly angled.

As long as the back is completely straight with no bend it's absolutely fine even if it's slanting upwards slightly - it's just that LOs back must be completely straight x
