AF already or more bleeding?

Had an ERPC to remove a mmc 2 weeks and 2 days ago. Post ERPC bleeding tailed off to nothing by the end of last week.

Woke up this morning to another bleed, but for some reason I feel its more AF like. But could it be this soon? After my first ERPC, I went 5 weeks without AF and definitely Ov'd first.

I'd be happy if it was but don't want to get my hopes up.

Anyone else had AF this soon?

I think they say that any bleeding that occurs less than 20 days after your miscarriage isn't classed as a period. When I miscarried, I remember going a good few days (possibly 4 or 5) without any bleeding at all, then when I went back to work, which was almost 2 weeks after my ERPC, I had the heaviest bleed since the day after my ERPC, although saying that, it wasn't that heavy at all but I didn't really bleed that much after my ERPC, apart from the actual day of my op. But it stopped again and then I got my period 5 weeks exactly after ERPC. But I suppose it could be AF as it has been 16 days. Sorry, I'm not much help. Hope you feeling a bit better though xxxx

I was going to ask the exact same question!!! I am 2 days shy of 2 weeks and thinking that todays bleeding is period type stuff. I'm not sure myself. My doctor said not to think about any bleeding for 4 weeks at all because it could be any type of hormonal bleeding. She also said it could take up to 8 weeks to get a normal cycle, ugh. I asked if there was any way to tell what was what and she said there was no way at all to predict who's body would do what after the end of a pregnancy, we all react differently.
