AF due date, light pink streak in mucus, BFN

hi I’m new here so hope I’m doing this right.

AF is due today, I use a app which is spot on and gets the day right every month.

This morning 7am - I had some clear stringy mucus with a red/pink streak in and thought it was the start of AF (was a real small amount)

But there’s been nothing ever since (8pm) except some clear mucus but no blood or pink hints.

Grabbed a test on way home from work- BFN

Should I wait longer (just a little inpatient at the moment)

Anyone else experience this and get BFP?
