OMG finally, I had spotting today so hopefully full flow tomorrow and then I can start cd1....yipee! That means I can start my first round of clomid! I really hope it works, I'm so excited. Although I know I shouldnt put my hopes up too much .....but at least I am getting some form of treatment after TTC for so many years! Also this is my 2nd 33day cycle.........i'm so happy they are becomeing shorter!! 2 months in a row! Hopefully the clomid will kick start Ov and the cyst will sit tight. Has anyone taken clomid in the morning?

Im about to start Clomid soon, but i got advised to take it at night in order to sleep through any side effects that might arise..

And i know how it feels to have irregular cycles too, it sux
hoping it will work out for you :) good luck!

i am starting clomid tonight:) as well ...doc recomanded to take it evening as well:)

I know but I'm sure bird24 (in the clomid club) took her 50mg in the morning and got her BFP on her first cycle last month! Could have happened either way I suppose.

Miel I just posted on your thread too...isn't it exciting to finally get to this stage and get the ball rolling?! I will have 6 cycles of clomid though before IUI :( Fingers crossed though that clomid works for us and we dont have to go any further!

Well once your body sleeps it starts repairing and (in children you grow in your sleep) so i would i assume yuor body would be working harder to make use of the Clomid and stimulate your ovaries at night?!

+ if there are indeed side effects then you can at least try and sleep through them..

hihi my reasoning..

Kool i'm sold ....clomid at night it will be! Is there anything about mood swings I should warn my OH about ??

Hi

Really pleased that your on clomid, lots of success stories from it and I hope you both add to the success. I have got to see the nurse on the 23rd Feb for IUI. Fingers crossed all round.

Whahaha i dotn know it depends on the person and dose i guess.. just in case i did warn my DH

Ive been pretty moody on this cycle as i was having spotting and cramps for about a month and i dont think hubby was to impressed with the news of another month of possible moodiness on Clomid hahahaha

I just told him it wouldnt make a difference as id be staying moody too if i wouldnt take it :muaha:

Thanks Tory.....i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you on the 23rd xxx I remember you telling me that you had your hopes up when you started clomid too :( I keep trying to tell myself not to pin my hopes on this too much but I think I'm caught in the moment :)

I do feel I was put on clomid for no reason. I have regular cycles of 27 days and ovulate so it just felt like a procedure to me until the next step. My DH has a slightly low count and low mobility and clomid would not change that. You have mentioned that your cycles are a little bit up and down so this may be great for you and give you the little help you need.

Hiya. I am on day 5 of my first round of clomid with PCOS and just had to wait an agonising 72 days for my period to start so i could start the clomid. It was horrible.

I take it in the morning and dont seem to get any side effects except a few moody patches lol. I did warn my other half so he is very understanding and supportive.

Hope it works out for you.

xx
