AF on Progesterone Suppositories?

So, this was my first cycle taking progesterone suppositories, following Femara and Ovidrel and timed intercourse. I've had short cycles (21-25 days) following my MC last year.

Well, 7 days into taking the progesterone I had bright red spotting, which stopped for a day and turned into full flow AF this morning, giving me a 24 day cycle. I took my trigger on CD 14, making ovulation on CD 16ish. That means I would have had an 8 day LP.......on progesterone.

Has anyone experienced this and had success with a different protocol?

I had something similar happen on oral progesterone supplements and Ovidrel. I normally have a 14 day luteal phase. That cycle, the full on period didn't come until I stopped the pills, but all of my classic PMS symptoms as well as heavy spotting started about 4 days earlier than it should have. I know from ultrasounds I didn't ovulate before the trigger. I didn't know it was possible for progesterone to shorten your luteal phase, but my spotting was just like a period barely being held back by the pills. I took them twice a day, and the spotting would stop for a few hours immediately after taking a pill and increase until the next dose.

Sorry I don't have any more information for you. I don't know why this would happen.

Thanks. I took the vaginal suppositories, but apparently they were only like 50mg, only once at night. I might just need a larger dose.

I was also reading your signature. I'm 29, have low AMH (0.16 in February), have cycles ranging from 21-26 days, my FSH is 7, and my AF sounds exactly identical to yours. I DON'T have any thyroid issues, PCOS, or anything structurally wrong with my uterus. Or male factor. I just thought it was interesting. I rarely see people with issues similar to mine all together.
