Sorry i just need to stress.

I have been giving my baby a beaker with some water in whilst she's in her highchair just so she can play around learn how to drink herself .. but ever since (its only been 2 days) whenever i give her a bottle of milk she's not taking it properly like shes forgotten how to latch to the teat and suck .. its doing my head in :(:(:(:(:(:(

Maybe she prefers doing it herself hun, have you tried giving her milk in the cup?

It's a good thing though, much better for her teeth if she can drink from a cup instead of a bottle, you must have an independant little lady :)

Shes not actually drinking anything from the beaker though thats the thing .. she just holds it and tries to get it in her mouth .. sometimes i hold it to her mouth and her tongue just like .. laps at it .. but shes not actually sucking and drinking the water.

So now with her bottles she just laps at it moving the teat around.

How can she forget in 2 days lol.

is it possibly related to teething? Hannah refused bottles when her teeth were coming in

it could be, her gums dont look sore at all though and she doesnt seem unhappy. just confused as to what to do with the bottle teat.

No more beaker for now anyways just to see if she gets back on track with her bottles.
