I asked Niko what he would like for Christmas and he literally couldn't think of anything he wanted! He pondered for a while then decided he wants a jack in the box!
Now all he keeps talking about is this jack in the box he wants

Rio has given me his Christmas list. No sign of a PlayStation!
He said mum I only want a couple of things this year as they are expensive (cute)

He has requested the Aston Villa away shirt, lego city train set and some hot wheels cars.

Just ordered 3 toxic waste plushies. The boys were trying to win these on claw machines whilst we were on holiday, they managed to get 2 colours but still needed the other 3. They were a fair price imo at £5 each so make a good stocking filler. I’ve just got to decide who I wrap them for!!

I'm feeling really stuck this year. Financially I haven't budgeted for Christmas at all this year which is not ideal so I have a feeling ill be rushing around in December finishing off things, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted to be doing.

Rio hasn't mentioned a Playstation again since, so I don't know if this would be a waste of money option. He already has a switch and a gaming laptop, which he has all of the games he plays on both of those platforms. And an ipad that he also plays some of his games on. So is playstation an unnecessary additional expense whereby I'd have to buy the same games over again essentially just for him to play with a different controller!?

He's been hinting that his phone isn't working properly, so I am considering dropping the ps5 idea and getting him a new phone instead. But this takes a lot of the stash bulk type items off my list for him and his pile will be even smaller (was thinking controllers, skins, extra games, playstation themed light for room etc). Ahhh don't know what to do!!

If he's not mentioned it again I'd probably get something else as it's a big buy for a possible miss, especially if you haven't budgeted for it. I've not budgeted for anything big this year and praying they don't suddenly decide they need a new console

Definitely avoid the PS5, birthdays will be around the corner if it's mentioned again! And opt for a PS5 controller to use on his laptop instead.
If the size of a a phone is a downfall for you, put it in a box in a box in a box, so it looks bigger. I don't have anything in big boxes this year, which I'm liking because I want it all around the tree as opposed to piles.

The stashes are embarrassing so far
Poor Rio has nothing in his pile lol. I’m waiting for Black Friday in the hope that some of the items on his list will go down in price.

My piles are very uneven atm too
