agnus castus advice?

I'm going to apologise in advance as I think this may end up being a very rambly post

Last year I started taking agnus castus (4 of the 400mg ones that Holland and Barrett used to sell) and managed to get some sort of regularity to my cycles. I went from 70+ day cycles down to about 40-45 on average, still not regular, but a lot less with regards to length.

I stopped taking them as I totally forgot to buy a new batch in and with wedding stress etc, it was a month or so before I bought some more. I started taking them again and it was about a month before af returned.

Again I got my cycles down to 40-45 on average and was managing to track my cycles (finally getting positive opks), but then being the idiot I am stopped taking them again because we were due to go on honeymoon and I didn't fancy explaining in customs why I had these tablets with me (I didn't think to take enough with me for the fortnight).

As soon as we got back from honeymoon I got started on the 100mg tablets (equivalent to 1000mg) from Nature's Aid and have been taking them for 2 months now with no change to my cycle. There's no sign of af and I'm definitely not pregnant.

I don't know what to do, whether to give these new ones another month as it can take up to 3 months before Agnus Castus gets into your system, or just resign myself to the fact that I'll have to go to the Dr for medication

I am taking angus cactus through my fertilaid and am on month four. I have seen some positive affects but I have to let you know it is not a miracle supplement. If there is an actual issue going the natural route will probably not help.

If you can get to a fertility specialist I would do it ASAP just to see if there is any issues like PCOS or something else, you never know.

I think what I'm finding so frustrating and kicking myself for is that it worked for me before, so why mess with things. I seriously wish (with hindsight) that I'd just taken enough of them to turkey for the fortnight we were there instead of panicking about my bag being searched on the way back and having to explain what they were

I'm giving it until the end of September to kick in, but if nothing by then I'll be making my way back to the Dr
