Ahhhh!

I'm trying not to be excited since the day is far from over.

So let me give a brief and possibly tmi back story.

For the past two months I've started charting useing Ovia and so far it's spot on with my periods. So during my supposed "fertial" period I was right on track with previous cm charting and symptoms when all of a sudden nothing. Dry. It started on my premium fertial day and SO had been pretty much every other day this whole month. Then I started to get cramps off and on, on my left side and soft creamy cm. Well the cramping continued until today which is week two and often changes sides. I still have creamy cm but my cervix keeps changing from hard to soft and positions.

Well today was supposed to be the start of AF and over the past years I've always started early in the morning.

I woke up this morning and checked my cm, still white with no tinge of forthcoming menstrual blood.


All of which is abnormal for me.

This month my face didnt break out like it usually does right before AF but my back is...which that hasn't happened since I was a teen. My nipples are really sore to the point my bra hurts sometimes and that only just started for me right before AF last month.


I really dont want get my hopes but I am hoping and praying that AF does not show her ugly head and after seven months we've finally conceived.

What do you guys think?
Does it sound promising?

Sounds promising to me! Take a test in a couple days if AF hasn't showed!!

Can you post your chart? Sometimes the bbts can tell you a little something after O is detected if they follow certain patterns...

Hmm...well the format is a bit harder to interpret than some of the programs I've seen but what I was looking for was elevated temps that stayed high after O. It looks like your temps dropped recently if I'm reading your chart correctly...I honesty am not sure Most of those programs mark where O happened and then show the post O temps in a way that one can identify a normal coverline temp and see if pregnancy has maintained a bbt above the coverline since O. I agree with the pp to test when you are ready as it's not over until AF shows up! Good luck

Oh. i dont temp. The hearts are when we, you know, the wavey Iine is ovulation, and the bars are cm. Watery and egg like are the highest. Then creamy and lotion like is where its been for awhiIe.

Ok I see....well if you end up being "late" with no bfp you may want to use fertility friend or a similar program that actually confirms O (cm and opks aren't a sure thing unfortunately) so you can have a more accurate read of your cycle. Those programs that don't use bbt are based on a lot of assumptions that most women have a 28 day cycle and fertile cm is always indicative of O which just isn't true

If you temp and your bbt stays high you can read that as a great sign you caught the eggy as well so there's a lot of solid science behind temping that just can't be obtained without charting your bbt. Also you will know for sure when and if you O'd and not think you are late when you may have just ovulated later than you think. Keep us updated and hopefully you'll get your bfp and if not try charting as it's free as well!
