alice in wonderland gift idea *self made*

since royal mail has stoped working in my area because of the weather i have had to decided to make my own christmas gifts, anyways one of the things i thought would be kinda cool would be a alice in wonderland idea....

get a cake box and write "now your in wonderland" on it
inside i am going to place a homemade and decorated cake with a tag saying "eat me" on it
A small bottle of something with "drink me" tag on it...
a heart shapped cookie and a little tophat style cake....

the bottle and cake from the book/movie to grow and shirnk alice
the heart for the queen of hearts and the top hat for the hatter....

what does everyone think?

would love imput and suggestions

thanks hun :D really hope it comes together my OH bought me loads of cake making things last year so now is the time to put them into play :D
 
just need to find a cupcake recipe something to use as a drink and cookie/tophat cake stuff lol what am i like might be out of my depth lol

awk that sounds brill!! i have an amazing recipe for strawberry cheecake cupcakes if u want it... not very christmassy tho :wacko:
 
thanks hun i hate cheese cake lol so wouldn't be able to test it out lol... anyone know if you can get recipe for costa blueberry muffins ? sorry my partner loves them and they are like £3 each :( going to try and get some other ideas..... maybe instead of a heart cookie i should make a heart shaped jam tart?
 
Ingredients

3oz butter
3oz sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg, beaten
8oz plain flour
110ml milk
3-5oz blueberries
(see measure conversions for more information)


Method

- Cream the butter.
- Gradually add the sugar and the egg.
- Mix 1 tablespoon flour with the blueberries and put to one side.
- Sift the remaining flour with the baking powder.
- Fold the flour and baking powder into the butter, sugar and egg mixture.
- Stir in the milk.
- Mix in the berry and flour mixture.
- Bake in greased muffin tins at 200 degrees C. for about 25 minutes

thanks lol hopefully will get to try it out but will need to steal someone else's ovan as my house now unliveable for about 2-3months due to flooding:( but hoping to still get these done. need to make about 9 or so of them lol :D anyone know anything good i can line the box with? to make it more presentable?
