Hi! Didnt want to read and run...

I dont personally dont get any pain but a friend of mine with PCOS does get a dull ache alot of the time. She is only just going to the Doctors this week to find out more.

Thank you, Id just like to know if its 'normal'.
Btw your dogs are yummy! Im a dog trainer/behaviourist and your shepherd is just stunning :-)

I think I'm giving up on the quest of being "normal" so far everything is seems to be abnormal for me! I hope you find other people in the same boat as you though.

Aww thanks, they are the best! Oooh your a trainer! thats good, I have just retired the shep from working trials and she is only going to be doing a little obedience now, shes getting on abit has just turned 8.
I compete in obedience and agility with the chihuahua :happydance: hes great, I love proving everyone wrong with my dogs, Kia the GSD is a PAT dog she is such a loving girl and Tiger (chi) is a proper dog he knows he is a dog and doesnt get dressed up and carried around. Oh I could take about them forever! what does do you have? I will add you as a friend :flower:

Aw thank you.

I love the fact that you do things with your dogs.... the amount of clients I see that have dogs but do nothing with them and then wonder why they have behaviour problems... hello?!
I have a 7 year old GSD x and an 18month old Eurasier. I love GSD's and husky types. They get a bad rep sometimes but they are only owned by the wrong people.

Oops - gone a bit OT, I too could talk about dogs alllll day (and babies lol)

I've just found out today that I have PCOS & I have only started getting ovary pain the last few months.

Thanks Jodie,

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat. I was only diagnosed on Friday (although I had a feeling a while ago) so its all pretty new to me.
I wonder if the ovary pain is a forever thing? Im just taking paracetomol but dont really want to take it long term.

I get constant ovary pain with my pcos. It's more painful during OV and AF. Hope that helps!

Thank you, I dont get af or ovulation at all :( just constant aching/pain.
At least its not just me tho, was getting worried.

Hey, I don't remember getting any ovary pain, until I started using Metformin. Then I started realizing some ovarian pain. But I don't know if its psychological cos I read on BnB that ovary pain is sign of ovulation.

In any case, the pain shouldn't be unbearable, if not you should go to the doctor....

I get severe ovarian pain when I ovulate like every other month. I can't do anything when it happens. And that's really hard when you have a very active toddler.
During my period my cramps are pretty bad. Not as bad as they were before I had my daughter. And occasionally my ovaries are achy.
So you're not alone.

I'm in pain a lot because of pcos. Especially at ovulation time.

I sometimes get pain in the area of my ovaries but it's not constant. Maybe every few months.

I think pcos symptoms differ from person to person. If you're worried though, have a chat with your GP. x

i get alot of ovarian pains sometimes it's a bit painfull feels almost like sum1 grabbing my ovary on the inside n twisting it FS said this is ok and nothing to worry about .. i know for sure it's not ovulation as i've been tested for progesterone levels many times xx

Before I went on clomid I would get AF pains pretty much all month but not ovary pains. Same sort of issue though I imagine. x

hi there
i get aches in my ovaries, usually just my left one and i have had this for several months. i presume its linked to the cysts sitting there misbehaving :haha:
good luck hun x

Hey, just visiting from WTT. I have been experiencing pain on my left side for the past 2 months now and just started having tests to try and diagnose the problem.

How did your pcos get officially diagnosed? as in which test helped to get a definate diagnosis?

Thanks

Hi! I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago. yes, i do get pains. in my lower abdomin/ovary area. sometimes they are light and just uncomfortable, other times i double over in pain for a minute or two before the pains subside. also, when i sneeze or stand up too quick i notice that it feels like i might pull a muscle or something. anyways, just to sum it up, yes, i do get the pain-- i metioned it to my doctor and they didnt say anything, so im going to guess that means that it is normal?
