im getting closer to my 20 weeks scan its 2 weeks 2morrow and we have decided not to find out mainky because dh dosnt want to know but i really want to know is anyine else feeling they may crack at there scan

I've got 4 weeks until my 20 wk scan and I keep flitting between knowing and not knowing! I think if the nurse says she can tell if baby is a boy or girl I'll crack and beg to know......will I miss not having the surprise after the birth though?! Decisions decisions.......

lol with my dd i was so set on knowing but dh didnt want to but i managed to talk him round by promisin next time we wouldnt find out lol so here we are next time and its so hard ill let you know what desicion i come to

My 20 week scan is tomorrow. I am feeling Ok about not finding out. OH really wants to know but has accepted he will wait now. I think it's a boy. The only point where I came close to cracking was when I saw a beautiful pink and white polka dot rug and thought that if I found out that it wasn't a boy I could buy it. But I can wait a bit longer to know whether I can buy a rug or not!

I stayed strong! Just think of the reasons that you are team yellow- once you know, there is no turning back!

We decided early on that team yellow was the way forward. We had talked and both of us had said that we liked the idea of a girl eyc, but we agreed that staying team yellow would stop any gender disappointment.

We told the sonographer we didn't want to know but then spent the entire scan staring at the screen lol. I thought i saw 'little boy' bits. Hubby had missed them and thought girl......so we took bets lol.

When Earl was born we were so overwhelmed it was a good couple of minutes before we looked at what he was lol......and I had won the bet lol so we had chinese (my choice) the night we got home lol. If we'd had a girl uit would have been indian (hubby's choice) lol

As it happens boys are ace and we're now leaning towards wanting a second boy lol so we may find out next time (while off yet mind! lol)

We didn't have a choice, our LO (branded as the "naughty" baby by our sonographer) wouldn't show us. Our minds were set on discovering the gender, but now that we're not (as we refuse to pay for additional scans when they're not needed) it's actually quite nice. It's somehow added to the excitement, which i never thought possible!!

We didnt find out neither

I must admit I was a teeny bit tempted but OH was dead set against it. But as soon as I got into the scan & she said everything was measuring fine etc I just didnt care what sex it was.

I'm kinda like miasiemoo in that I feel a bit more excited now to have "it" and see what the sex is!! It's such an exciting time & one of the biggest suprises of your life, so why spoil it?!

I didn't find out at my scan either. The only problem is that we've got a whole list of possible girls names but hardly any for boys
