Almost 8week old slept through the night..

Hi Tesh!! 
My son has been sleeping 4-5hr stretches since day 1!! Scared me to pieces the day he went 6-7hrs!
I was encouraged to wake him to feed if it's gone past 4hrs. I've been letting him go no more than 3hrs during the day as it's so hot here, and at night he typically sleeps from like 1030 to 330 or so, and I wake around 1 to pump

My DD slept through from around 10 until 17 weeks and then started waking more and more. She still doesn't sleep through now at 4 years old but she's better than she has been.

Hi wannabemomy! How are u And Baby? Hope u both are well. Wanted to tell u that I'm so glad u got your natural delivery yay!!!
I also don't let my lo go more than 4 hours but he is clockwork for his feeds usually.
I see he has gone twice now thru 5-6 hour stretches of sleep through the night from the last time he sttn!
All I can say is I have taken the pp's advice And enjoy the extra sleep when he does!

This is an entirely alien world I'm reading about. Honestly, it rips my heart to pieces.
Our son woke every 10 minutes-half hour, and an absolute maximum of 2 hour stretches, until we sleep trained him at 8.5 months old.
My relationship is ruined, my sanity hung on by a thread.

sorry to hear that. My dd1 did the same until we sleep trained her at 6 months. It was hell before that. However props to you for sleep training and getting your life back! Many people just stay in that misery for fear of sleep training so good for you! I hope you are getting some good zzzzz's now xo

Last night my son slept from 830 till 630...3am sleepy feed.
He scares me when he sleeps so long and he's not the easiest to wake sometimes...so, while he slept I was up every few hours checking on him :-/
