Already thinking of Baby no.2!

Ok call me mental, but I am already picturing a little brother or sister for little Keron!

I am def nowhere near wanting to fall pregnant again, but am thinking of trying again next year. I went into labour And got to 5cm dilation before it ended in an emcs. I really really really would like To try for a vbac if I fall pregnant again.

Ok so how long would u wait to try to fall pregnant after a c section And any advice on trying for a vbac?

We are planning on trying for #2 in September when Isla is 9 months old, we've been planing this since shortly after she was born. The only reason we are waiting that long is because we are getting married in September and I want to have a couple drinks at my wedding! Otherwise we would have been trying as soon as my period returned at 5 month PP. I didn't have a c section so I have no advice on how long to wait, but I'm sure your doctor could give you some good advice! I absolutely hated being pregnant so I just want to get it over with!

I can't stop thinking of #2! My LO is 10 months now but we had decided to wait until next year to try. I don't know if I can wait that long and I'd really like a smaller age gap!
Sorry no advice about the c-section but I think I read something somewhere about 18 months being the ideal wait between giving birth to be fully healed?

My ob advised to wait a year before trying to conceive after section.

My dr says after csection it's best to wait 18 months for everything to heal up. However I know ppl who had back to back csections with no issues

They recommend 18 months before trying again as it takes that long for everything to heal properly. I got pregnant again (surprise, unplanned) when my daughter was 13 months old. I'm 5 weeks away from giving birth now and had no problems. I had a little tugging and pulling pains around my scar area in the first few weeks but all has gone well with the rest of it. I'm praying the birth does too. Xx

Dh And I have decided to start trying next year February! DS will be 9 months old by then And there's no guarantee I will fall pregnant right away, hell it took us 17months the first time round!

Also that will give us at least 18months until delivery of another Baby if I do fall pregnant in February👍 All that being said, I need my periods back first! Lol. I am combo feeding since ds turned 1 month. For anyone who breastfed how long did it take your periods To come back And for your milk To dry up? I am trying To wean him gradually of the breast And plan To stop bf in the next couple months.

I am exclusively breastfeeding and my period returned at 5 1/2 months PP. Not sure how long it will take for my milk to dry up because I am hoping it doesn't! I would like to nurse Isla until she is 2 so I am hoping to continue nursing her through my next pregnancy.

We had a normal delivery and dd is 17 months old. I know exactly where you are coming from. My daughter was only a few weeks old when i wanted to do it all again. We are in our first month ttc now. Im abit nervous about managing pregnancy with a toddler etc but still really really want another xx

I waited till my first was a year old to try with my second and until my second was a year old until I tried for my third. Deffo done now but there are 22 months between first and second and second and third and I love the gaps I felt my body needed that year to recover or I may have had them even closer!
