Always wondered this - pic question

Whenever I post pics, they always come out as tiny, then you have to click on them to get them to show up bigger so they are viewable. But when other people post them, they are big on the screen. How do you get them to show up big and stacked rather than tiny and 5 in a row?

Is there a size I should save the pics at to get them to show up bigger on the screen?

When you use "manage attachments" the pics are resized & they will appear small. But if you post a link to the pic using photobucket for example the pics will Appear big on the screen.
