Hi.

For ages now my mum said she would pay for our flowers. We found somebody on eBay cheap and I liked her flowers.

When oh came home from work last night. I told him my mum would be popping up to sort flowers so he can pick what buttonhole he wanted.

He then blew up saying he wanted real flowers. I told him He knew about the flowers and my mum couldn't afford real. So he said we would pay for them. We can't afford them either.

I feel totally gutted and sorry for my mum. He won't back down.

So does anybody know and cheap florists in north Wales/ Chester or online.

Thanks.

Not that do real flowers.......I know of a place on the wirral that will do all your flowers (silk) can pass you their addy/num if you want but for silk ebay is prob your cheapest. (Will also send you the make up/hair number when I get back to work - have been off cos of snow)

I got quoted £40 just for a small posy of roses for myself from a florist round here. The silk flowers are only costing me £20.

What about saying to your OH that you wanted silk so that you can keep your boquet as a reminder etc. You could still get your flowers silk and the button holes real? Saves a bit of ££ and you both get what you want??

Just an Idea :hugs: Hope you get something sorted soon. popping in to NH next week to see room set up for ceremony

xx

Send him down to the florists and get him to get a quote on all the flowers you need/want and see if he changes his mind!

We're going for silk aswell, it seems to be quite common now days x

I agree with Kim! We're having silk too, we've managed to get 4 bridesmaid bouquets, mine, and 6 buttonholes out of £60 of flowers and accessories xx
