Background-
_we have been ttc for over 2 years.
_have taken clomid due to border line progest.
_I have had one pregnancy which ended on mc on round 2 clomid
_I have taken clomid since my preg and I am finished with that because my lining is too thinned

I am considering instead of going to RE going to an internist... reason being if I am not ovulating "strong enough" due to my progest. not being high as they like ... the adrenal glad produces that hormone, and maybe I could take something that wouldn't be as costly as RE but still give me the levels I need for pregnancy?!?!?!

whats your thoughts... anyone try this route?

I would personally stick with an re or endocrinologist. Those are issues they would primarily deal with and should have the most expertise.

If your progesterone is not as high as they like why aren't they supplementing it after o? I take 200 mg after o and the prescription cost me $8 for 30 days worth.

I second the suggestion of seeing an endocrinologist. The problem you're experiencing is a common one they deal with.

Also, a lot of endocrinologists embrace holistic and integrative medicine, so you should be able to find one who will give you treatment working in tandem with your RE. You get the best of all worlds--conventional medicine plus the outside of the box alternative remedies.
