Hi, not really used this forum but got no answers to this in Baby Club and figured this would be the best place to post.
I recently started giving Frankie 7 oz in each of his feeds. He is 12 weeks old. He has been sleeping through for the last three weeks or so and so has dropped a feed and was having 5x6oz a day and when I got him weighed he had dropped slightly on that graph thing for his weight (from 50th percentile to 49th!!) and although HV didn't seem bothered but I was worried that he might not be getting enough. He was draining each bottle.
He doesn't always finish his 7oz, but never leaves more than about an ounce. But what's making me think that maybe I'm giving him too much is that he has started to be sick quite a bit more than when he was on 6oz. Sometimes it is straight after a feed, but it can be any time between feeds. He has just been sick on me when I was getting him ready for his 10:30 feed. He doesn't seem bothered about being sick so I'm not concerned that it is upsetting him, just worried that I am over feeding him.
Also, the sick isn't necessarily that cottage cheese lookign stuff that is mlk that has started to be digested, even when it is 2 hours after a feed it just looks like milk.
What do you think?
